GWO First Aid – Refresher

Refresh the first-aid skills required to respond confidently and effectively to an emergency in a wind turbine environment. Practical exercises and realistic scenarios reinforce the participant’s ability to assess casualties and provide immediate lifesaving assistance.

Learning objectives

Participants will refresh their ability to:

• Assess and safely manage an emergency.

• Recognise life-threatening injuries and medical conditions.

• Perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator.

• Provide appropriate first-aid treatment.

• Respond effectively during practical wind-industry scenarios.

Participants must hold a valid corresponding GWO WINDA training record.
