GWO Fire Awareness – Refresher

Refresh the knowledge and practical skills required to prevent and respond to fires in a wind turbine environment. Participants review fire hazards, emergency procedures and the safe use of firefighting equipment through practical exercises and scenarios.

Learning objectives

Participants will refresh their ability to:

• Identify and control common fire hazards.

• Recognise how fires develop and spread.

• Apply effective fire-prevention measures.

• Respond appropriately during an emergency.

• Select and safely operate suitable firefighting equipment.
