Rope-access services—providing wind-farm operators, owners, and contractors with a single, trusted partner focused on safety, efficiency, and operational readiness.

What We Offer

07

Loop Spacers

01

Blade Inspection

Wind turbine blade inspection involves inspecting for defects like leading-edge erosion, cracks, lighting damage, and bonding failures. These inspections are critical for optimizing efficiency, reducing downtime, and extending asset lifespan. Usually performed every 6–12 months, or after extreme weather events (e.g., storms).

03

Vortex Generator Repairs

Vortex generator (VG) repair on wind turbines involves replacing damaged or detached "fins" on rotor blades to restore aerodynamic performance and boost efficiency. VGs improve lift and reduce drag by controlling flow separation, particularly at the blade root.

05

Rain deflector repair

Wind turbine blade root rain deflectors are critical for preventing water ingress, which can lead to ice formation, structural damage, and erosion. Repairing these components, often located near the hub-to-blade connection, requires specialized materials designed to withstand high operational stresses and environmental exposure.

02

LPS Test

Lightning Protection System (LPS) testing on wind turbines involves measuring the electrical resistance between blade receptors and the grounding system. Ensures lightning current is safely routed away from critical electronic equipment, preventing damage, downtime, and costly repairs.

04

Leading edge repair and LEP application

Leading edge protection (LEP) and repairs are essential for mitigating rain, sand, and salt erosion on wind turbine blades, which can reduce Annual Energy Production (AEP) by up to 5%. LEP involves applying specialized coatings or tapes —often to the outer 10-20 meters of the blade—to increase lifespan.

06

Nacelle silicone and bolt replacement

Nacelle maintenance in wind turbines, specifically silicone sealing and bolt replacement, is critical for ensuring the structural integrity, weatherproofing, and longevity of the turbine. Components in the nacelle (gearbox, generator, yaw system) require protection from harsh weather, while fasteners require high-strength, corrosion-resistant solutions.

08

Bulkhead Mounting Brackets

These L-shaped brackets are often arranged around the internal circumference of the blade root. They provide the attachment points for a rigid or flexible bulkhead, which seals the blade interior from the hub to prevent debris and humidity ingress.

Loop spacers play a vital role in wind turbine cable management. Located in the cable loop between the nacelle and tower, they keep power and control cables properly spaced to prevent abrasion and mechanical stress during nacelle rotation.

Rope access is a versatile solution that can be applied across a wide range of industries and structures.

If you have a special project we’d be happy to discuss how we can support you.
